All you need for short stay in Porto. The rooms are reasonably large and airy and include a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator. The bed is comfortable, slept really good. As for me location is spectacular, very close to several good restaurants and shops around, the Ribeira and Rua das Flores where all the actions are and train station. There's Darema Waffle Bubble offering takeout at a medium distance from the venue.

During my transit in Porto, I stayed at Republica Ribeira and found the database to be quite useful. The first feature that stood out to me was the convenience of the nearest airport being only 16 km away from the guest house. This made it incredibly convenient for me as I didn't have to worry about a long commute after a tiring flight. the guest house is also located just 500 metres from the Sao Bento Metro Station, which made it easy for me to explore the city and reach my desired destinations quickly.
One minor negative aspect that I encountered during my stay at Republica Ribeira was the online-only service without any staff available on-site. While I understand that this can be convenient for some, it was a bit challenging for older guests like myself.

Finally, an airport shuttle that I can pay for! Palacio da Bolsa and Ribeira Square were a whole 300 meters away, I almost broke a sweat!
Who needs sleep when you have noisy garbage trucks, construction, and drunk people serenading you all night? Such a peaceful stay!
